FEES Courses
Clinicians who practice FEES often start by attending an introductory (foundation) FEES course. They then require mentored training at their medical institution since performing the procedure requires not only skills training (how to handle the laryngoscope), but also knowledge-based training (how to identify abnormal findings, interpret the exam, and know what interventions may be effective). FEES has become a global standard for dysphagia evaluation, and Langmore FEES, LLC provides both novice and advanced clinicians with standardized evidence-based training programs designed by Dr. Langmore, the developer of the FEES procedure. Backed by over 35 years of clinical and research experience, our goal is help clinicians gain the confidence and proficiency needed to perform FEES in their clinical settings.
Attend a Foundation FEES Course
We regularly provide foundation (intro) FEES courses that are open to any SLP or MD who wants to learn the fundamentals of FEES. This course is taught via live remote format (over 3 days with 15 hours of lecture) and in-person format (over 2 days with 11 hours of lecture and 4 hours of hands on practice in rotating mentored small groups).

Attend a Scoring & Interpretation FEES CourseOur team teaches a 1 day scoring & interpretation FEES course for clinicians who have had at least 6 months of regular practice using FEES. The Langmore FEES protocol will be used to rate many case studies aimed at calibrating FEES exam scoring with senior Langmore FEES faculty.

Request a Private FEES CourseOur team can provide a private foundation or scoring & interpretation FEES course that can be customized based on your educational needs, the facilities that are available to you, and how many clinicians you want to train.
